Every year Tamil Nadu state arrange the TNEA counselling for giving admission into various engineering colleges of TN. In TNEA each student will be given a TNEA Rank. According to the TNEA Rank the admission is given to engineering colleges of Tamill Nadu.
Since Now all the Tamil nadu results are decalred. TNEA Counselling 2011 will be held shortly by TNEA Counselling Board. Simialiarly Anna University will take the Anna University Counselling 2011 for giving admission into various engineering braches of Anna University. The schedule for the remaining candidates will be announced later. Candidates have to pay an initial deposit of Rs.5,000/- (Rs.1,000/- for SC/SCA/ST candidates belonging to Tamil Nadu) at the time of tnea counselling.Candidates are advised to be present two hour before the commencement of the tnea counselling session. The dates for TNEA 2011 ( Tamil Nadu Engineering Admissions 2011) organised by Anna University has been announced recently.

The date of issue of application for TNEA 2011 :May 3rd,2011

The counseling for engineering starts from June 28 th,2011

TOTAL NO. OF SEATS IN GOVT. AND GOVT AIDED QUOTA:-
This year additional 1200 seats have been added in Govt. and govt. Aided colleges which sums upto a total 0f 3360 seats.

TOTAL NO.OF SEATS IN SELF FINANCING ENGINEERING for TNEA 2011 COLLEGES:-1,34,481 seats

This year 2011 TNEA counselling ends 10-15 days lates compared to last year.And more no. of applications have been sold than last year.

Last date for sale of applications:-May 30th,2011
Last date to submit filled-in application forms:-May 31st,2011.
