CENTAC Counselling for all the degree courses will be conducted at the Office of the CENTAC, Chemical Engineering Block, Pondicherry Engineering College (PEC), Pillaichavady,Puducherry - 605 014.
Admission to the first year of B.Tech., B.D.S., B.V.Sc. & A.H., B.Pharm., B.Sc. (Nursing), B.P.T. and B.Sc. (MLT) Degree courses offered by the Government -- sponsored Colleges is centralised and done by the Centralised Admission Committee (CENTAC), Government of Puducherry by using Counselling.

Notification for the CENTAC Counselling is still not available, You can see the latest information about the 1st and 2nd counselling of CENTAC soon. CENTAC will held the Medical Counselling and other counselling in 1st and 2nd phase. And dates , timing and schedule for CENTAC Counselling 2011 will be release soon.
Candidates will be called for counselling as per their order of merit is each course. Candidates to be called for counselling will be intimated through call letters or a public notification in local newspapers and in the official web site of CENTAC.
What if I miss to appear in CENTAC Medical Counselling 2011 ?
Candidates who do not attend the counselling on the specified date and time, have to forego their claim for admission. However, due to unforeseen circumstances and unavoidable reasons, if a candidate is unable to attend the counselling on the specified date and time, he / she can attend on a subsequent date and time during the counselling period for the course, with prior permission of “The Convenor, CENTAC”. But, the candidate can only opt for the seat available at that time and cannot claim any seat as per his / her original rank,for the course. In any case, counselling will not be done in the absence of candidates.
CENTAC Counselling 2011 fee :-
A non-refundable counselling fee of Rs.600/- (Rs.200/- for SC/ST Candidates) will be collected from each candidate ‘getting admission for the first time’, to any of the Degree courses coming under CENTAC.
The counselling fee should be in the form of ‘Demand Draft’ drawn in favour of “The Convenor, CENTAC”, payable at Puducherry. Payment by cheques, postal orders, money orders and Cash will not be accepted.
Notes :-
1. Candidates admitted into any college/course, during their subsequent CENTAC counselling 2011, shall join that college/course on or before the last date prescribed by the respective Colleges.
2. No candidate will be allowed to attend the 1st Counselling or 2nd counselling without the prescribed counselling fee.
3. Admission to all courses is based on the merit list, category of the candidates, and the availability of seats at the time of counselling.
