JAM 2011 Results will be displayed at 17:00 Hrs on 24-05-2010. IIT Roorkee will soon released their IIT JAM 2011 Examination Results which was taken few month back by IIT Roorkee.

From the Academic Session 2004 – 05, Indian Institutes of Technology have started conducting a Joint Admission Test for M.Sc. The examination was conducted by the organizing institute jointly for all the IITs on 8th May, 2011. The Joint Admission Test - JAM examination is conducted to provide admission to courses in the IITs such as M.Sc, Joint M.Sc and Ph.D, M.Sc – Ph.D. Dual Degree Programmes and other post-bachelor degree programmes.

The IIT JAM 2011 is being conducted by the IIT Roorkee for MCA degree course admission and the IIT JAM Results 2011 will also be priced by the same.

JAM -2009 Exam Application Forms and Result

IITs are of National Pride and Importance, well known the world over, for quality education in engineering, science and research in frontier areas. JAM-2009 has been announced for admissions into M.Sc, M.Sc -Ph.D dual degree at Bombay , Delhi , Guwahati, Kanpur , Kharagpur, Madras , Roorkee. JAM-2009 is open to all nationals (Indian/Foreign) with no age restriction.

Eligibility:

55% or above aggregate marks for General/OBC Category candidates and at least 50% aggregate marks for SC/ST and PD Category candidates in the qualifying degree. For candidates with letter grades/CGPA (instead of percentage of marks), the equivalent percentage of marks will be decided by the admitting institute(s).

Application Procedure:

Online Procedure: Applications forms at website http://jam.iitkgp.ac.in from Nov 24, 2008. Last date for Submission is January 19, 2009

Offline Procedure: OMR application form along with Information Brochure, and Acknowledgement card will be available from Nov 24, 2008 to January 07, 2009 on cash payment of Rs.1000/- for OBC/General male candidates and Rs.900/- for General/OBC female candidates and Rs.500/- for SC/ST and PD from different city branches of Canara Bank.

The “OMR Application Form” and the “Information Brochure” can also be obtained by Post from the JAM Office of IIT Kharagpur by making a written request along with the Demand Draft of Rs. 1050/- for General category Male candidates, Rs. 950/- for General category Female candidates and Rs. 550/- for SC/ST and PD candidates, drawn in favour of “Organizing JAM-2009″, IIT Kharagpur, payable at Canara Bank, Kharagpur (Branch Code: 0190), and a self-addressed slip (11.0 cm x 6.0 cm). This fee includes Rs. 50/- as postal charges. Such requests must reach the JAM office, IIT Kharagpur, latest by January 7, 2009. The application material shall be dispatched by Registered Post.
