The Andhra Pradesh State Minorities Finance Corporation Limited (APSMFC) was incorporated under the Companies Act, 1956 in the year 1985 to assist the weaker sections of Minorities viz; Muslims, Christians, Sikhs, Buddhists and Parsis for their Socio-economic Development by providing Margin Money Loans and Direct Loans with the assistance of Govt of AP and NMDFC for setting up of Businesses, Industrial, Service, Agricultural and Allied Viable Activities and Grant-in-Aid for Welfare Scheme. Post Metric Scholarship will be sanctioned to the Economically Backward Minority students whose parents/guardians annual income does not exceeds Rs 1 lakh per annum. The post metric scholarship will be sanctioned to the minority students of Intermediate, Graduation, Post Graduation and Professional Courses as follows.

Eligibility Criteria for APSMFC Scholarship 2011 :
Pre Metric scholarship will be sanctioned to the economically backward Minority students from 6th to 10th Class, Whose family income does not exceed Rs 1 lakh- per annum. The Scholarship amount shall be disbursed to the students who put in 75% attendance in normal time.
1. Post Metric Scholarship & Fee reimbursement will be sanctioned to the Economically Backward Minority students.
2. Whose parents / guardians annual income does not exceeds Rs 1 lakh.
3. If the distance between the residence of the student and institution is below 5 KM Scholarship will not be sanctioned.
4. The Scholarship amount shall be disbursed to the students who put in 75% attendance in normal time.
5. The scholarship amount will be released to the students bank account directly from the ED/DMWO's office.
