Indian Institute of Management (IIM) has published the notification for upcoming Common Admission Test (CAT 2011 - 2012) for admission into various management colleges & institute in next academic year.
Test Notification :
Schedule & dates are declared officially at the main website called www.catiim.in, Interested people can apply online by following simple steps given here. As per the announcement registration for CAT 2011 - 2012 will open from 3rd week of August & will last for 2 to 3 weeks.
Important Dates :-
Sales of CAT Vouchers : Wednesday, 17 August 2011 - Monday, 26 September 2011,
Registration for CAT 2011 : Wednesday, 17 Aug 2011 - Wednesday, 28 Sep,
Examination Date : Saturday, 22 October 2011 - Friday, 18 November 2011
Declaration of Result : Wednesday 11 January 2012.
As per the notification, The CAT 2011 - 2012 will have only two sections instead of three. The first section will focus on Quantitative Ability & Data Interpretation; the second on Verbal Ability & Logical Reasoning.
CAT 2011 Application Form & Registration Detail :-
According to the press note candidates seeking for admission into the IIM have to apply online by submitting the CAT Application Form 2011 - 2012 along with the demand draft to the admission committee before the last date. Registration process will run for 4 weeks only, No any application vouchers will be accepted after the last date for registration, So please make yourself ready.
