Announcement for the IES 2012 Syllabus of EEE, ECE, CSE, Mechanical & Civil Engineering : The Indian Engineering Services Examination (IES) is going to conducted by the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) on June for selection of the best engineers in various Govt Sectors. IES biggest competitive exam after GATE includes all over India.
IES Syllabus 2012 for Engineering Degree Courses:-
Every year UPSC IES members changes their syllabus little bit to keep students in touch with today's affairs and news. But some time there are no any modification in the syllabus, So you should keep checking it before start preparing for IES Examination. Board of director committee of IES has released different syllabus for all the branches ( ECE, CSE, EEE, Civil and Mechanical Engineering), however many subjects are common for EC, EEE and CS students will be same.
UPSC will take the IES Examination on three different round, (1st) Pre Examination conducted on June (2nd) Mains Examination held on October-November (3rd) Final Interview round for selected list of candidates.
IES 2012 Syllabus will be different for all the branches and will be in form of Paper 1 and Paper 2. Still final notice is not published, So please come again to this page, Will soon update once get the latest news from UPSC IES Committee. UPSC takes the Paper 1 and Paper 2 to make complete IES Examination and both combined to build the syllabus for complete engineering degree, requesting you have to start preparing yourself from 1st Year to final semester.

Press Release ( 10th June, 2011 ) : Changes in syllabus and pattern of the Preliminary Examination from 2011 in the scheme of Civil Services Examination A set of sample questions for both Papers would be put on the UPSC website http://www.upsc.gov.in in due course for reference of the prospective candidates.
