छत्तीसगढ़ माध्यमिक शिक्षा मण्डल के गठन के पश्चात वर्ष 2002 की हाईस्कूल/हायर सेकेण्डरी परीक्षाएं पूर्व मण्डल माध्यमिक शिक्षा मण्डल मध्यप्रदेश, भोपाल द्वारा लागू पाठ्यक्रम के आधार पर आयोजित की गई थी। इसी बीच छत्तीसगढ़ माध्यमिक शिक्षा मण्डल द्वारा आयोजित विभिन्न परीक्षाएं हाईस्कूल/हायर सेकेण्डरी के लिए कायर्शालाएं आयोजित कर अपने स्वयं के पाठ्यक्रम निर्माण की कार्यवाही सम्पन्न् की तद्नानुसार वर्ष 2003 की परीक्षाएं नवीन पाठ्यक्रमानुसार आयोजित की जा रही है।
