NIFT Admit Card 2011, Application Form, Result

NATIONAL INSTITUTE OF FASHION TECHNOLOGY (NIFT) has just published the notification for the admission program 2011-12. Interested candidates can apply online or offline by filling up simple NIFT 2011 Application form. More details regarding how to apply and where to get the NIFT form is available below.

NIFT 2011 Application Form availability :-
Prospectus along with Application Form can be obtained from the selected branches of Axis & IDBI Bank across country on payment of Rs.250/- or from any of the NIFT centres by hand for Rs.250/- or by post enclosing a DD of Rs.350/- in favour of NIFT, New Delhi payable at New Delhi.

Please Note: Application submitted without the details of the Demand Draft will not be accepted.

Fill the NIFT Application Form 2011 Online:
Since your eligibility will be screened based on the information furnished by you, you are required to exercise sufficient care to correctly furnish the details of your Qualification, etc. After filling the form correctly, submit the same by clicking the button “SUBMIT” where by the data filled by you will be captured. On successful submission of online application form, a unique auto generated Application Form Number will be allotted which will appear on print version of the application form.

Important Dates for NIFT 2011 :-
Application Form Available : 19th November, 2010 to 5th January, 2011
Last date of Submission of Application Form : 10th January, 2011
Written Entrance Examination : 20th February, 2011
Declaration of Written Examination Result : End of March, 2011
Situation Test / GD / Interviews : April - May, 2011
Declaration of Final Results
Bachelor Programmes : End of May, 2011
Declaration of Final Results
Master Programmes : 1st week of June, 2011

NIFT Admit Card 2011 :-
On the basis of information given in the NIFT Application Form, Admit Card of provisionally eligible candidates will be dispatched to the address mentioned in the Application Form. The admit cards for the provisionally eligible candidates shall be dispatched by 01 February 2011.
In case of non-receipt of Admit Cards by mid of February 2011, the candidates can download the Admit Card from the NIFT website http://www.nift.ac.in on or after 8 February 2011 (after 1400 hours).
On such downloaded admit cards, the candidates are required to affix their photograph (similar to that affixed on the Application Form) on the downloaded Admit Card and get it attested by a Gazzetted Officer / School or College Principal for producing at the Examination Centre.

Candidate without the admit card or without the photograph on the downloaded admit card will NOT be permitted to appear in the written entrance examination.

Result for NIFT 2011 will be available on the month of May. Student can access their NIFT Result 2011 by feeding their admit card no in the result link provided here.
