The Indian Nursing Board is an Autonomous Body under the Government of India, Ministry of Health & Family Welfare was constituted by the Central Government under section 3(1) of the Indian Nursing Council Act, 1947 of parliament in order to establish a uniform standard of training for nurses, Midwives and health visitorsIndian Nursing Council,Standards of Training for Nurses, Standards of Training for Midwives, Standards of Training for Health. The Karnataka State Diploma in Nursing Examination Board, Victoria Hospital, Bangalore Re-established from 01.06.1991. Main objective of Nursing Board is to provide scope for innovation and elevation of Nursing education by research and experimentation.
Every Year Nursing Board takes their Examination in month of June, July, August and November, This year ( in 2011 ) same sequence will follow.
