The Indian Institute of Foreign Trade (IIFT) was set up in 1963 by the Government of India as an autonomous organisation to help professionalise the country's foreign trade management and increase exports by developing human resources. Today IIFT is one of India's most prestigious business schools.

IIFT 2011 Application Form and Notification :
IIFT will the Entrance examination to give admission into academic year 2011-12. Notification regarding IIFT 2011 is available online at it's official website http://www.iift.edu/iift/Admissions_2011/index.asp. Those who want to appears in IIFT 2011, first they have to fill up the Application Form. Good news is that IIFT 2011 Application form is available now at http://iift.datatec.co.in/. You can apply online as well but You should have a printer attached to your computer as you are required to send a print of your online application form to IIFT. Please follow below rule and steps to apply online and offline for IIFT 2011. Send the filled in online form alongwith necessary enclosures to Sh. Gaurav Gulati, Administrative Officer, Indian Institute of Foreign Trade, B-21, Qutab Institutional Area, New Delhi-110 016 through Registered Post/Speed Post/Courier only. After receipt of the above application form with necessary enclosures, the Programme Brochure will be sent to the candidate through courier/post for information. This will also confirm the receipt of the IIFT application form 2011 in the Institute.

IIFT 2011 Admit Card :-
The IIFT Admit Cards 2011 will be sent BY POST to all the students, who submit filled-in Application Form complete in all respects (online or offline), in the first week of November 2010. Applicants, who do not receive their Admit Cards by 15th November 2010 can download the Admit Card from IIFT's website. With a printout of the Admit Card, the candidates should reach the venue of the Exam Centre on 28th November 2010 latest by 9.00 a.m. with one of the following documents:

ELIGIBILITY for IIFT 2011 :-
Recognized Bachelor’s degree of minimum 3 years duration in any discipline. Candidate appearing for a qualifying examination can also apply subject to submission of proof of requisite qualification by 7th October 2011. No age limit.

MODE OF ADMISSION for IIFT 2011 :-
Selection will be on the basis of Written Test, Group Discussion, Essay Writing and Interview. Written Test will be held on SUNDAY 28th November 2010 during 10.00 a.m – 12.00 noon at Ahmedabad, Allahabad, Bangalore, Bhubeneshwar, Chandigarh, Chennai, Coimbatore, Dehradun, Delhi, Guwahati, Hydrabad, Indore, Jaipur, Jamshedpur, Kochi, Kolkata, Lucknow, Mumbai, Nagpur and Visakhapatnam. Based on the marks of Written Test, a limited number of candidates will be invited for second phase of selection process comprising Group Discussion, Essay Writing and Interview to be held at Bangalore, Chennai, Delhi, Hyderabad, Kolkata, Lucknow and Mumbai. IIFT reserves the right to add/delete any centre, if required.
