Meanwhile, cut-off marks of the Grade 5 scholarship examination were also released for admission for popular schools district wise. The cut-off marks are as follows. Colombo, Gampaha and Kalutara districts, Sinhala medium 148 and Tamil medium 145 respectively. Kandy district Sinhala medium 148 marks and Tamil medium 145 marks. Matale district Sinhala medium 148 marks and Tamil medium 145 marks. Nuwara Eliya district Sinhala medium 140 marks and Tamil medium 140 marks. Galle district Sinhala medium 148 marks and Tamil medium 145 marks. Matara district Sinhala medium 148 marks and Tamil medium 145 mark.
