ReplyDeleteI hope you mean only the pass % scored by the students when you said how goo the results are!
The results have been published unusually and unforgivably late by the DDE of Annamalai Univ. this year! I'm a student of the DDE who'd completed BA final yr exams (DDE) in May 2009 at Hyderabad. I've been checking the University website evry other day for the last one month and the results for BA ENGLISH (course code 007) have not yet been published in said website to this date! Even though it is more than past one month since the normal publishing time! They had initially given the excuse for the delay in publishing results that due to the higher number of students appeared for MBA exams in May 2009, it took them more time to publish the other results (what a joke! Is there only one person manning the system there??) And the last results for DDE have been published on 16th Oct. 09. Those for BA english are yet to be published.
On calling up the local contact centre at Chikkadpally, Hyderabad, I was first given the argument that "all results have been published on the website on 16th october itself" (I wonder which website this man was talking about!) and when I insisted that results for BA english have not been published on the website, the incharge then gave me 3 different contact nos. of the main Univ. at Chidambaram. On calling which, all 3 turned out to be "out of service"
Then on calling him back again, he gave me 3 more nos. These too, on being called, either give a busy response or strangely a "temporarily out of service(??)" response! And the remaining times that I called, the phone is ringing but no response! Such a so-called highly reputed university doesnt even have anyone to bother answering your calls!!
Wth is going on with this University?? They normally tend to delay while sending the marklist and also exam hall-ticket intimation (usually arrives after the exams are over!) by post but have atleast always been prompt in publishing the results online, why this slack on their part this time even in this regard?? The inefficiency on their part seems to be increasing! When it comes to paying fees for the exam, the Univ. always gives a deadline, failing which a 'late fee' of Rs. 100/- is charged from the candidate! But they take their own sweet time when it comes to sending us the marklist or exam hall-ticket intimation! Talk about arrogance!
Also the deadline for applying for the Dec. 09 exams is fast approaching. What if we have an arrear and we don't have enough time to apply for the Dec. exam because we didn't receive the previous marklist in time from them?! Who is going to take responsibility for this?? Surely not the snobbish high-handed DDE or the University!
