Some Notes of Orissa JEE Counselling 2009:

1. For women candidates in Engineering the Orissa JEE Counselling for reserved category
(STWO,SCWO,GCWO & PHWO) will be conducted simultaneously along with general category,
except for the Ex-Serviceman(ES) category. All women candidates for reserved category in
engineering stream (except for Ex-Serviceman category) should report according to their General Women (GEWO) ranking. For women candidates seeking admission under Ex-Serviceman(ES) category are to report according to the time schedule mentioned in this programme

2. Counselling will be conducted only for those Physically handicapped candidates who are found
to be qualified by the Medical Board of JEE-2009, Orissa . All JEE qualified candidates claiming admission under PH category are advised to attend the Medical fitness test at the Auditorium of SCB Medical College Cuttack as per programme given on the web site from 04 July to 11th July at 10.00 am all the days

3. RESERVE CATEGORY (WO,ST,SC,GC,PH,ES), MBBS & Lateral Entry Programme seats are
meant for permanent Residents of Orissa State only. Any candidate seeking admission under any of the reserved category has to produce PERMANENT RESIDENT CERTIFICATE (Appendix-I)

4. THE RANKING IN THE RANK CARD DOES NOT ENSURE ADMISSION TO ANY OF THE COURSES. THE ADMISSION IS SUBJECTED TO AVAILABILITY OF SEATS.

MBBS JEE Orissa Counselling Vacancy Seats 2009:-

In view of the possibility of enhancement of seats in MBBS course at VSS, Medical College , Burla it has been decided to hold the counselling for Medical programme i.e for 128 seats in MBBS course at SCB Medical College, Cuttack; 128 seats in MBBS course at MKCG Medical College, Berhampur and 91 seats in MBBS course at VSS Medical College, Burla on 14.07.2009 as per schedule. After exhausting these seats the counselling for rest of the candidates for Medical Programme would be held on 18.07.2009 as per schedule of Medical programme for MBBS course in VSS Medical College , Burla (increase if any) , MBBS course in Private Medical colleges and BDS course in both Govt and Private Medical Colleges.
