The west Bengal joint Entrance Examinations Board was formed as west Bengal Board of Examination for Admission to Engineering Degree Colleges in the year 1962. WBJEE takes various entrance examination to give the admission into various profession courses (MBA,MCA,Engineering,Pharmacy,Medical etc) in West Bangal.
Every year WB JEE takes the JECA exam to give the admission into the MCA type courses. So by givin the JECA exam student can get the admission into MCA in West Bangal. Admission to MCA course will be governed by the reservation policy of the State Government. There is no restriction regarding age of the candidates. JECA (West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination MCA (JECA)) test is conducted for the applicants who seek admission into MCA course .This test is conducted by the Board of West Bengal examination.
